Workflow Overview
When someone fills out and submits the Quote Request Form on your website, InstantQuote handles everything in the background, from creating a personalized quote with artificial intelligence to tracking payments and managing quote statuses. Here’s a step-by-step explanation.
Quote Review
The seller reviews the draft and makes any necessary adjustments.
Quote Sent
- Once finalized, the seller can test the email using a test address.
- After sending, the quote status changes to Sent.
Customer Response
- If the customer accepts the quote (either manually recorded by the seller or automatically via the Accept button), the status changes to Accepted.
- If the customer pays through the payment link, the status changes to Paid.
- If the customer refuses the quote (manually or via the Refuse button), the status changes to Refused.
- If the customer requests a revision and the seller updates the quote, the status changes to Revised.
We believe adding a payment link is always a good idea. However, you can choose not to include the buttons to accept, refuse, or revise the quote in the customer’s email.
It all depends on your preferences and the type of services you provide. Including the buttons makes the process faster and more automated, but also less personal.
Complation
After the service or product has been delivered, the seller marks the quote as Completed.
